I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

I’m taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope.

The funds I raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

Your kind donation will have the power to make that possible.

Together, we can step up and stamp out this brutal cancer.

Thank you.

My Updates

13th July event

On 13th July 2024 my sister, Angela Burrows and I will be walking in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of our Mum, Janet Monaghan, who passed away earlier this year.
Angela and I will be supported by our husband/partners, John Burrows and Derek Mitchell, and, of course, Brodie, the cocker spaniel.
We plan to walk in one of our favourite spots, Hotham Hall and surrounding area, which works really well for us all, including dogs and wheelchairs.   Hopefully the weather will be kind to us, and we plan to adjourn afterwards to the Hotham Arms.  Please think of us and support us, if you can, in this undertaking in memory of our Mum.

Thank you to my Sponsors
