I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

I’m taking part in The Big Step Forward in memory of my cousin Elspeth who passed away last year only 8 weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope.

On Saturday the 27th of July, my sisters, cousins and Elspeth’s family and friends are going to walk 10 miles around the coast of Great Cumbrae(Millport) An island off of Scotlands west coast where we spent our summers as children, where I have so many happy memories of spending time with Elspeth.

The funds I raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.
