In memory of my wonderful husband, I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK
My best friend, first true love and hubby Sean fought so hard against this deadly disease leaving myself, my girls and our family devastated. There's not a day that goes past where my heart breaks just a little more.
This will be the third time myself and my girls will be taking part in the Big Step, just a little thing we can do to try and raise awareness and help to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope.
Together the funds we raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

Hi Karen I'm the 5% that survived Pacreatic Cancer. It was purely I was admitted to hospital for something else that it was discovered. It shows no symptoms until it's too late. I felt fatigued & lost a bit of weight, but put it down to grief as I'd just lost my dad. Early diagnosis is vital!
