I’m taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope.
The funds I raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

I am participating in a charity walk to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research, in memory of my brother-in-law, Lloyd Hayes, who tragically lost his life to this devastating disease. Pancreatic cancer has one of the lowest survival rates, and I am committed to raising both awareness and money to support the fight against it.
Tori and I participated in this walk last year, she was 2 at the time and I was amazed at how well she did, completing 7 miles on foot ! We are honored to do it again this year, continuing to do good in Lloyd's name. In his last moments, Lloyd documented his journey on social media to raise awareness, and we will continue his work.
