Walking for Rob
Hello everyone.Firstly, can I say a big thank you for everyone who supported our fundraising for Pancreatic cancer 2 years ago. 2022 was the year we lost my amazing brother Rob to this devastating disease. Rob's incredible wife and my young nephews and nieces have walked a challenging path everyday in the last two years, all of it unknown and unforseen. They have been inspiring and Rob would have been so proud of all of them.
Pancreatic cancer doesn't just take precious lives, it impacts everyone in the family and friend network. It makes life change route for those affected. It's like swimming in an unpredictable sea and you have to learn how to negotiate the waves, fast. Pancreatic Cancer UK are the only UK charity dedicated to researching for earlier diagnosis and one day a cure; and provide much needed patient and family support.
My brother will live in our hearts forever. Two years on we are walking in memory of Rob and to help others.
