We’re taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope.
The funds we raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

86 miles - why?
On 10 March 2023 mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I went to bits, mum held MY hand. I wasn't the best wingman, at subsequent appointments I sat sobbing as the news just kept getting worse. She battled and was determined to live, I never saw her cry (but she probably did) - but you can't beat this. She passed away at home with Ee, Andy, Ben and I by her side on 22 June 2023 (Paul was en route from the states). More needs to be understood about this disease, that most people diagnosed die within 3 months is truly shocking.Thank you to my Sponsors
