I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

On the 27th of February 2024 we were heartbreakingly told that our dad Paul, aged 51, has incurable stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. On the 18th of March, dad started his very intense 12 cycle Chemo journey..which he’s still currently undergoing. 

Watching what this cruel disease does to the person you deeply love is heartbreaking and until dads diagnoses we knew nothing about it or it’s signs. 

That’s why his fight is our fight and taking part in The Big Step Forward will help to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. 

The funds we raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.
