I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

For the month of July I’m hoping to take 500,000 steps because I’m taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. 

The funds I raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

Would you believe it! 🎉😆

It is the 1st of August and my walk is complete. I have surpassed even my own expectations.

My target was 500,000 steps but in the end I took 587,147! I hoped to raise £150 but have managed to double that amount, thank you to everyone who helped me achieve this. With special thanks to my little helpers S, S & Ziggy xxx 😘 I couldn’t have done it without you 💜💜💜

The final week!

Well in one week it will be August & my challenge will be complete. Thanking all my supporters so far, it is so important to keep fighting for this cause. I am very pleased to say that as of this moment I have completed just over 471,000 steps so just 29,000 to go. 

Half way there 🤪

From 1st July until 14th I have achieved 243,799 steps! Considering I had one day sick in bed, and another day my Fitbit died before the end of the day, it looks like I’m on track to my target of 500,000 steps in the month.
