I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

I’m taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. 

The funds I raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

Your kind donation will have the power to make that possible.  

Together, we can step up and stamp out this brutal cancer.

I am doing this walk in honour of my grandfather who sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer, his passing was a huge affect on my life. Not only did I loose my grandad I lost my best friend who was the reason for who I am today. 

I want to spread awareness as much as possible, anything I can do to make a change in one another’s lives will be a great.

My grandad Gareth didn’t only play a massive part in my life through childhood and adult he played a massive part in everyone’s lives, he made people smile, he made people laugh are his character and personality was so contagious to everyone around him. 

Although he can’t be back with me, I want to do this in honour of him and his memories and spread his joy to everyone around me with his friends and family.
