Helen England

I'm taking part in my 1st Big Step Forward!

I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

Two years ago I lost my dad Gary to pancreatic cancer. By the time his cancer was discovered and diagnosed it was too late for any treatment and I want to help change that. Pancreatic cancer is hard to diagnose and treat, and funding is needed for research and I am taking part in the Big Step Forward to support world-leading researchers to speed up diagnosis and improve treatments.

On the 16th of July, exactly 2 years and 1 day after my dad's funeral, I will walk 4 miles to help to transform the future for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer.
