Dani’s story
Andy (Dani) was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in April 2022… he had Whipple surgery in London on 31 May and, after a delay caused my complications, began his Chemo in August. His Chemo finished in February this year and his latest scans show he is still cancer free.
We realise he is incredibly lucky to still be here and to be well enough, this year, to do the walk on his feet and not on a mobility scooter as he did last year!
A lot of people we have met along this journey are no longer with us and it is in their memory and the thousands who will come after that we are raising money.

We are taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers. Sadly, for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. But there is hope.
