Tinkerbell

For those who couldn't be there yesterday....

Heather sadly lost her very brave battle with Pancreatic Cancer 10 months after diagnosis and 5 weeks after this photo was taken of her with  close friends and loved ones taking part in The Race For Life in June 2019 (just 10 days after undergoing bowel / stoma surgery) raising an amazing £2697 for Cancer Research UK

In Heather's name, to date £4,402 has been donated
....IF ONLY IT COULD BRING HER BACK !!

LOVE YOU FOREVER HEDD XXXX

Getting together to remember lovely Heather aka Tinkerbell

"Thank you" to all who came yesterday to take part in The  BIG STEP FORWARD in loving memory of Heather - it was really lovely to see so many of Heather's family & friends joined together to recall so many wonderful memories of our precious Tinkerbell - NEVER FORGOTTEN !! xxxx

Many Thanks to ALL who donated in Heather's memory - we raised an amazing £1705

Beach Activities for those not walking / with Children

Heather was a Level 3 Forest School Leader and gave her life to teaching children about the wonders of nature - this even extended to days out at The Beach!

....carrying on her great teachings, we will be analysing rock-pools, identifying sea-shells / creatures / sea-weeds, learning about Tides & Beach Safety, Litter and it's impact. We will be creating Mandalas from pebbles / shells, building Fairy Sand Castles, we might even encounter a mermaid?

Most of all, we'll be remembering our fun-loving, Fairy and her infectious smile, her warm heart and beautiful soul - MISS YOU EVERY DAY HEATHER!! XXXX

Come and "dip your toes" in The Irish Sea in memory of Heather

This is the day on Pensarn Beach when Heather and friends were sitting having a lovely picnic and suddenly noticed that the tide had come in around us - good job we'd eaten our sandwiches (Heather insisted!!) and we weren't too far from shore ;)

Happy Memories of a Beautiful Soul xxxx

13/7/24 Funny it should happen again today - haha!!
...I think our funny Fairy was playing one of her jokes ;) x

Weather Fairies

I'm sure our weather Fairy will "arrange" some good conditions for us on Saturday - tide times are perfect with low tide at 10.42am (maximum amount of beach to play games on) and the forecast at present is looking reasonable - yippeeee!!

!! NEW TARGET SET !!

A HUGE "THANK YOU" TO ALL WHO LOVED HEATHER !!

"Thank you so much for supporting our Tinkerbell Page" and donating to Pancreatic Cancer UK with your very kind donation in support of The Team's 'Big Step Forward' Fundraising.

Raising funds and awareness for Pancreatic Cancer UK is close to our broken hearts since losing Heather to this cruel disease and your support has inspired and motivated us - "Thank you very much"

We originally set our Target at £250 as it was our first time, but with your love and generous donations, to date, we have raised £694 !!  ....AMAZING !!

Your donation will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK's nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

With 5 days to go until our BIG STEP FORWARD, we have set a new Target of £750 and we hope you will help us get there please? xxxx

With Love & Heartfelt Thanks from Team Tinkerbell

Walking with Fairy Wings

Heather loved walking and being "outdoors" ....join her sister Georgina for a stroll along The North Wales Coastal Path on Saturday 13th July 2024 and recall all those wonderful memories of our favourite Fairy

Remembering our much loved and hugely missed Tinkerbell

Join us in remembering our very special Tinkerbell - 11.30am Pensarn Beach for a stroll along North Wales Coast Cycle Path "Love & Thanks" From 'The Team'

We are fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK in loving memory of our beautiful Heather Lawson

We’re taking part in The Big Step Forward to help transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Heart-breakingly!! ...we lost our precious, beautiful Tinkerbell on 15th July 2019 (aged just 47 years) to this cruel, evil disease ...so unfair!!

...Heather was the most caring, kind, loving person!  She was a Special Needs Teacher and Level 3 Forest School Leader - she gave her life to teaching children about Nature and all it's beauty!  Heather sadly left an 11 year old Son, a partner of 20+ years, her close sister and loving family and many devoted friends.

She loved all animals especially her dogs, cats and horses, she was a great cook and ate healthily, used all natural products, took regular exercise outside: Walking, Riding, Skiing, Canoeing and Motorcyling - HEATHER LOVED LIFE!!

..which is why we NEED more Research, more Funding, more Breakthroughs, MORE HOPE!!

The funds we raise will help enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s Nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.

Your kind donation will have the power to make that possible.
