I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK
I am taking part in The Big Step Forward to transform the future for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers. Sadly, for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. But there is hope.
As most of you will know, May 23rd marks 1 year since we lost my Mam to this aggressive and cruel disease. The funds I raise will enable Pancreatic Cancer UK’s nurses to continue to be there for those affected by pancreatic cancer now and fund research to detect early, treat better and transform care.
