Training Walk
1st May we went on our 1st preparation walk for Ben Nevis by walking up the Highest point in Cheshire The Shining Tor, The walk took us about 3 hours covering 4.97 miles which was made a little harder for myself by carrying my 3 Year Old daughter in a child carrier!!!I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK
My Father in-law (Alan Grant) passed away about 4 weeks after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in March.
Half of all people diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer will die within 3 months.
By 2026 Pancreatic Cancer will become the 4th biggest Cancer killer and yet receives only 4% of the research funding.
Alan was a proud Scotsman & in his memory alongside his family i will climbing Ben Nevis to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK at the end of May
I am taking part in The Big Step Forward to take steps to transform the future for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.
Research breakthroughs give us hope and will save lives. The funds I raise will have the power to make that possible. Every step will support world-leading researchers to speed up diagnosis and improve treatments. By walking together, we can create change to save lives.
