This all began when both of my parents were invited into a blood trial . Where 50% of the bloods were tested and the other 50% were stored. My mum was in the 50% that was tested. In which they said cancer was spotted in the cells. Everybody was abit shell-shocked to say the least . Further testing was done and unfortunately and very shockingly a tumour was found on my mum's pancreas. In which we were told was inoperable. Mum then went for a biopsy and now were in the process of the waiting game to see when further treatment starts .I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK
Pancreatic cancer is a tough one. Tough to diagnose, tough to treat, and tough to survive. Together, we can change that.
I am taking part in The Big Step Forward to take steps to transform the future for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer. Please support me and my fundraising.
