We are very excited to welcome you all to our brand new event for this year, The Big Step Forward.
After careful reflection, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone our Big Step Forward fundraising event from the 16 May to Saturday 5th September following the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We know that our many brilliant supporters who have registered to take part will share our disappointment, but we are in no doubt that a temporary delay is the right decision. The wellbeing of our community must always be our first priority and we do not want to increase the risk of patients and their loved ones coming into contact with the virus.
Pancreatic cancer does not stop during a global pandemic - thousands of people up and down the UK will still be facing this cruel disease. With your help, we will continue to be there for them when they most need us.
We would love for you to join us on our new event date, Saturday 5 September and you can walk either 1 mile or 4 miles. Whatever your ability or experience, on your own or as a group, you can take a stand against pancreatic cancer. Whether you, or a friend or family member are affected by the disease now or remembering someone you’ve lost, we can take steps together to demand a better future.
